In late 1969, WIXY's owner, Westchester Corporation, purchased WMCK 1360, located in the Pittsburgh, PA suburb of McKeesport.  WMCK became WIXZ 1360, WIXY 1260's sister station....even the logo was similar!   Because this station also ended in "60," both stations could share some jingles - at least the ones that sounded like "wik-see."  WIXZ ran from 1969 thru 1974.

Below are a few short WIXZ1360 airchecks from my personal collection.  You'll hear a big similarity to our own WIXY1260!  The quality of these isn't the greatest, but these are VERY rare!
